Southern Charm Star Taylor Ann Green’s Brother Dead at 36

The charm has faded for Taylor Ann Green.

The reality star announced that she’s stepping away from Southern Charm after four seasons on the Charleston-set Bravo reality show.

“Hi everyone! A bittersweet announcement; but after a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year,” Taylor Ann wrote on Instagram April 14. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life.”

“I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, bravo family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today,” she continued. “A wild rollercoaster but an incredible one to say the least.”

The 30-year-old, who announced the news with a clip of herself talking about her athleisure line Reset Athletic on an episode of The Viall Files, went on to say that she looks forward to being able to focus on growing her company and thanked her supporters.

“Thank you again to everyone who has loved and supported me throughout this journey,” Taylor Ann ended her statement, “and another grand cheers to the greatest ones out there @nbc @bravotv @haymaker.east & @bravoandy for an exceptional reality TV ride. All my love.”

The reality star officially joined Southern Charm in season seven as original cast member Shep Rose’s girlfriend. The former couple broke up after about two years of dating in July 2022 and have spent the most recent two seasons finding their footing coexisting within the same friend group amid ongoing drama.

In fact, Taylor Ann gushed about boyfriend of more than a year Gaston Rojas on the recent season 10 reunion and teased they may have wedding bells in their near future.

“He’s an incredible human being,” she said on the March episode. “He treats me well, and I’m gonna hold him close.”

Taylor Ann isn’t the only cast member exiting Southern Charm ahead of season 11. Her announcement comes three weeks after Leva Bonaparte also announced that she’d leaving the series after four seasons.

“Wanted to let you know that although this year was so fun -I’ll be stepping away from Southern Charm this year on great terms!” she wrote on Instagram March 26. “I am in a place now in my life where I want to have time to focus on Boys and my Joys.”

Bravo

“I don’t have a very salacious personal life to share but I do have a lot going on and frankly I’m working on some pretty cool stuff that I hope to share more of soon!” Leva, who also stars on Bravo’s Southern Hospitality, continued. “I love my friends on charm wish them the best and I’ll show up when they need me.”
