For young boys growing up in the green and white half of Glasgow, it offered a route to superstardom – a chance to realise the dream of playing football for Celtic.

But Celtic Boys Club harboured a dark secret.

For years, paedophile coaches used their positions to groom and sexually abuse players.

After a long legal fight, some of the survivors of that abuse have now received damages, with Celtic Football Club paying out seven figures to settle a class action legal claim.
