Greentree, Anthony Cristoforo and Carson Woodall scored power-play goals. Jack Nesbitt scored nine seconds after another power play expired or the club would have been a perfect four-for-four. It marked the third time this season the club has scored three power-play goals in a game.

“We’ve been working on some things,” said Walters, who also saw former Sudbury player Alex Pharand score for his club. “Most importantly, it’s the execution and not trying to do too much and just making simple plays.”

Meanwhile, the club’s league-leading penalty kill fended off all five Sudbury power-play chances to improve to an 83.4 per cent efficiency rating.
