Golden State Warriors star forward Draymond Green is taking the spotlight away from the 2025 All-Star game.
More news: Draymond Green Claims Warriors Are ‘100%’ Winning Championship This Year
Green was on the panel for TNT prior to the All-Star game and is making heads turn.
After commenting on his team and declaring that they would win the championship this year, he also added that the Warriors had offered him the head coaching job after he retired.
“I’ve already been offered the Golden State Warriors head coaching job when I’m done,” Green said.

The 34-year-old is one of the more accomplished players in the league today and is certainly a smart basketball player.
Current Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has been the head coach for Golden State for the past 11 seasons.
While Green has allegedly been offered the job, he said he doesn’t want to be the head coach.
“I think I could be a good coach,” Green said. “I don’t wanna be.”
If Green were to ever change his mind, he would have some big shoes to fill. Kerr has accomplished a ton in his career as a head coach, all with the Warriors. In those 11 seasons, Kerr won the 2016 NBA Coach of the Year, two-time NBA All-Star game head coach (2016 and 2017), four-time NBA champion, and was named a top 15 coach in NBA history.
Green would certainly be the most prolific head coach in history. He would give the referee the business, similar to how he does as a player, and it is safe to say that he would become the all-time leader in technicals as a head coach.
As things stand, we’re not sure if that is true or not. Green is currently in his 13th season in the NBA and is well on his way to Springfield when it is all said and done.
Green is a four-time champion, four-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA member, eight-time All-Defense member, and the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year.
The Michigan native would be a highly respected coach if he decides to go down that route, whether it is with the Warriors or not.
