Passengers who had enjoyed the hot air balloon ride landed on parkland at Ladygrove Loop next to the Ladygrove housing estate on Sunday.

The passengers helped to pack the balloon away after it landed.

One of the passengers, Elly Symonds, said her group had taken off from the Wild Pig farm shop at Stadhampton.

The Wild Pig offers a hot air balloon experience with an approved pilot.

Passengers can enjoy a ride across the Oxfordshire countryside, drifting at 2,000 ft.

The Ladygrove Loop is a popular walking route which features a walking, cycling and fitness route, with two free outside exercise stations.

There are also seating areas and a picnic area, six acres of new wildflower meadows, and two play areas and gateways at Cow Lane and Tyne Avenue.

The green space is close to Ladygrove Community Centre and Didcot Town Football Club.
