SpaceX scrubbed the Starship 10 launch attempt on Sunday for a liquid oxygen leak and Monday for weather.

There has been a good launch. There was an engine out in the booster in the middle ring. Stage separation, boost back burn have all been good.

UPDATE AFTER STARSHIP 10 SPACEX – Lowest cost launch to orbit will be 5-10 times lower cost. $1000 per kilogram with Falcon 9 becomes $100 per kilogram with reuse of just the booster stage.

UPDATE: SpaceX will make a 25% taller version of Starship and booster for 2027.

Soft landing of the booster.

Starship safely orbital.

Pez pod bay door opened.

Dummy Starlink Satellite payloads deployed.

The Starship also returned to a soft landing.

SpaceX is repeating the recording of the Elon Musk technical review from yesterday.

This mission will not include a catch of Booster 16, as the Booster will continue its envelope expansion experiments, and splash down in the Gulf.

SpaceX aims to perform a successful SECO with the upgraded Block 2 version, and entry testing.

This launch will be

– SpaceX’s 547th launch overall.

– SpaceX’s 108th launch of the 2025.

– SpaceX’s 11th launch of the month.

– Starship’s 10th launch overall

– SpaceX’s 10th launch from Launch pad 1 at Starbase.

There will be another falcon 9 launch in about 11 hours. There was an earlier falcon 9 launch today.

SpaceX is adding facilities for 120 Starship launches per year not including Starbase launches.
