Work on the 5-storey Brunswick Street project will start later this year with completion earmarked for 2027.
The 110,000 sq ft energy-efficient office complex will be part of the wider Darlington Economic Campus, which along with existing buildings will be home to 1,400 civil servants from across several government departments.

Kier has signed a pre-construction deal to develop the design and engage with the supply chain to prepare the way for building to begin.
The scheme, designed by AtkinsRealis, is targeting a BREEAM rating of “Excellent” with an Energy Performance Certificate rating of “A”.
